The Plan

This panel shows the proposed area of new lake extending to the north and north east of the existing lake.

The area to be covered by the new waterways approximately equates with Lake Hood's present surface area of 84 hectares. Islands have been added to the new lake allowing for adventure destinations within the park.

Canal links, navigable by small craft, have been included to provide water access to the Riversdale Homestead. This beautiful heritage listed building will be available for conference and other alternate activity with surrounding vineyards and farm markets presented from within the existing farm out-buildings.
